Hello Guys, 👋🏼 I wanted to post some great examples on the proper things you need to prepare for your tiny baby Yorkie. Young Yorkies like all dogs as puppies are chewers and they will need plenty of chew toys. Your Yorkie should have an isolated area to sleep and when is without supervision be kept in a area where they have no access to any dangers around the house. Dangers include any snack food such as grapes, raisins, almonds, or avocado peels, banana peels, that may have been dropped on accident on the ground by children or whoever. Other dangers are electrical cords, sockets, dryer sheets, cotton balls, cutips especially used ones, hair ties, any fabrics smaller than your hand... you just never know and you must be wary when you have a new puppy. Giving you some great knowledge and advice so you are prepared to recieve your new baby, I'll be posting more topics on what you need to know to give your babies great care and add alot to the longevity of their life. All my babies are in beggining stages of potty training when they leave and what they need is the proper reinforcement in training. It takes alot of repetition to train your baby. The advice I can give is when you set up your puppies area with their pee pad you must know how to set up your placement of it. Pee pad should be in the opposite spot of their bed. Best placement of your pee pad should be the furthest away from food and water. Food and water closer to their bed or sleeping spot is best. Show your baby where they are to go to the bathroom and always reward them when they do good. You can move on to different forms of potty training after you have trained your puppy how to follow your direction. If puppy has an accident... blot the accident with the pee pad to get the scent on there and put it back where it was but thoroughly cleanse the area of the accident well, where its completely disinfected of the smell of urine. Best thing for urine smell is baking soda. Cleaning the spot the accident took place with alcohol helps eliminate the smell so puppy does not try to revert to that spot again. Its takes time and patience for your little guy or girl to get it right so just breath and never get mad. Getting mad and scolding your baby will only get you back to square one. Hope this advice helps on how to start your baby on potty training.😘

🚨🚨🚨ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!🚨🚨🚨 What I want to talk about today is Hypoglycemia and stress. Like all toy variety dogs Yorkies are very prone to hypoglycemia. It is important that you do your research and recognize the signs and symptoms of stress and sugar crash. A great quality Yorkshire Terrier is expensive and I will have to say that this breed is not for everyone. It takes alot of time and patience with these adorable doll faces. Yorkies will need a home where you are able to provide them a neverending supply of food at all times. Since these babies are very small they run out of fuel very quickly. Yorkies eat very little but more often. They only know when they want to eat and how often. Yorkies at times can be finicky eaters. I want to advise potential owners of our Dolly's that they need to be prepared with the proper items before bringing their baby home. I'm going to tell you what you will need in case you find your Yorkie possibly going into a state of sugar crash. Hypoglycemia is not a minor issue because it can turn fatal. I can already tell you that acting fast is the only way to recover from this deadly situation. I am a home hobby breeder that will educate you in what to do. For one thing in these times of pandemic a veterinarian is not going to save your dog but advise you to put it down. Sadly they are fast to give up to only want you to pay them. Very little vets out there are going to care about everyone's pet they see everyday. I want to educate you today because in my contract I do not cover Hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is solely the responsibility of the owner. My job is to provide you with knowledge on how to take care of your Yorkie before it leaves my care after being checked off healthy and 1st vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian. Here are the things you will need in your kitchen pantry. 1) Karo Syrup 2) Oral syringe 3) puppy wet food 4) Puppy Nutrical for finicky eaters These 4 things are what makes a difference in life or death for you little baby. Now. Introducing your Yorkie to its new environment: 1) Allow your new Yorkie to sniff around their home and explore with you following close behind them. 2) Do not overstress your new puppy as it is going to take a day or 3 to adjust to the change of not being with mom or littermates. 3) Let puppy come to you after getting to know their new area and home. If puppy wants to play, only play for a little while until puppy decides to want to do its own thing. 4) Show puppy where food and water are by allowing them to approuch thier new area and introduce puppy to where their peepad is shortly after eating or drinking. Once puppy adjusts and after a long day of exploring and getting to know area allow them to rest in their new bed. 5) Puppy will cry for attention if wanting to get to know you now. 6) Allow puppy to want to come out and play. After tired put them back in their secure area ( see preparing for your Puppy's arrival)) 7) Only allow puppy to roam around house with close supervision to avoid accidental consumption of dangerous foods or foriegn objects. I want you to avoid stressing your Yorkie and educating you on my page saves me time from having to educate everyone who comes to me for their baby. Signs and symptoms of Hypoglycemia are 1) Puppy is overstressed and can't keep food or water down. 2) Puppy is mopey from over excitement and playing to much. 3) Puppy has not eaten all day and not showing appetite later that evening. 4) Puppy is weak and wobbly 5) When you check your dogs gums they are supposed to be pink. If your puppies gums are pale and puppy is weak its an emergency. Things to do when its an emergency 1) Apply about 1 cc of karo syrup on your puppies gums so your puppy can sabor it and swallow as much of it as possible. 2) Keep your puppy Warm. 3) maintain stimulation by stroking its back gently and keeping your puppy from going into shock from organ shutdown. 4) After gums start to return to normal and inner ears of your puppy are warming up and not cold allow puppy to rest warmly on a heat pad wrapped up in a blanket. Puppy will wiggle out of warm covering when it starts to recover because it's getting hot. 5) If you decide to go to a vet just do steps 1 through 3 while getting it to an emergency vet asap. I recommend Angels of Mercy critical care for any emergency they are 24/7. Be aware that a small puppy of teacup or micro size variety is a HUGE responsibility. Be sure you are ready to take on a responsibility just as great as taking care of a small child. The downfall to these babies is that they are delicate and can never be put in a situation of being dropped from a bed or high place or left without food for a long period of time. Its est for a puppy to be around grown responsible adults more so than their small children due to a child can stress it out from mishandling them. Babies will not be ready to go home till they are 10 to 12 weeks. Since my babies come from very small micro to teacup size bloodlines they will be held longer than the legal age of 8 weeks of being released. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT💕 Please Share to other Yorkie fanatics for them to come like and follow my page for more advise and education about Yorkies. I Love my Yorkies and simply want my babies to go to great homes where their owners are not just provided with One of Carol's Baby Dolly Yorkies, but also educated and provided with all the help and knowledge of owning one😘 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶
A BIT MORE KNOWLEDGE I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW BEFORE OWNING ONE OF MY BABIES🐾 Puppies sleep alot because their bodies are still growing and bones are still attaching so they can't be over exerted with playing and jumping. If you constantly bothering a puppy to play or to be active it could lead to alot of stress and drive your baby to depression where it will lead to it not wanting to eat or drink which will therefore lead to hypoglycemia. Its a fatal chain reaction. Slowly introducing your baby to a new environment takes at least 1 but can be upto 3 days before your puppy will want to get to know you and play for a little while. I'm educating my potential baby parents so you know what I mean when I ask you if you have ever own a puppy before. I want everyone to recognize this part of raising your puppy when I ask that question. I want you to be aware of the importance to not over stress your baby introducing a new environment. You shouldn't own a puppy if you are not able to allow your puppy to do its own thing once you get it. You shouldn't own a puppy if you are not aware of hypoglycemia, stress, and depression. You shouldn't own a puppy if you are easily angered and stessed, depressed or are mentally unstable. You need to know that the best thing to do when introducing your new baby to your home and their area is to open the carrier you transported it in to get him or her home and let it do its thing. Puppy may not immediately come out or it may but the important thing is that you didn't force it to be in its new environment which is step one. Puppy will build up its confidence on its own and explore when its ready. When you see that he or she is coming out and sniffing around then you can put pee pad down in front of puppy so he/she knows where to go and puppy may go. Placing fresh water and food right by puppy where they go is the welcoming step to let it know you are its new mommy or daddy now. Important step of all is allowing your puppy to get to know its new environment and build the courage to start playing on its own until it gets tired and goes to its bed to nap. Never wake puppy up and disturb it while its resting from a good few minutes of playing. Best thing to do is sit next to puppy when its playing by itself and finally puppy will reach that milestone of wanting to play with you by sniffing you then random nibbles recognizing that this new environment is its new home.😊 These bits of knowledge save me time having to answer questions and I'm just happy if all this advice helps my clients to care for their Baby Dolly Yorkie. 😘 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶
